SMUD Web Application Development
It’s funny how we all use electric appliances but have little sense of what costs what to operate when. Summer peak hours are a real strain on the utility and on customers’ pocketbooks. SMUD wanted web application development for an online video game to educate consumers on the relative cost of running different appliances. We came up with the award-winning “Attack of the Phantom Appliances,” a tower defense game punctuated by quizzes that test the gamer’s knowledge.
