When Westland Technologies came to Wallrich, it was already a successful supplier of elastomeric (that is, rubberized) parts for a wide variety of defense and industrial applications. However, its brand identity was a little outdated and in need of a redesign. Westland asked Wallrich to bring its brand profile up to scratch and make it look like a forward-thinking high-tech powerhouse.
To begin, we conducted a competitive brand identity analysis to see how the competition was presenting itself online. We found that many suffered from weak design. We concluded that a clean and simple logo design would strike the right note of sophistication.
We created a new brand identity, a hexagonal (or cubic, if you look at it in perspective) logo that conveyed precision and engineering expertise.
